Terms

What we promise, and what we ask

These terms cover this site, the gatherings listed on it and the application. Using any of them means you accept what is written here.

Who we are

Coherence, a design practice based in Monterrey, Mexico. Write to hello@coherence.build for anything at all.

Your account

You enter with your Google account, so its security is Google’s and yours. Give us what is true: an application built on invented facts is worth nothing to either of us. Tell us if something looks wrong with your account and we help.

Applying

Anyone may apply. Applying is not being accepted, and we do not promise a place, a date or a reason. We read what arrives and answer what we can.

What you write stays yours

Everything you write in the application is yours. By sending it you let us read it, keep it and talk about it inside Coherence, so that we can consider it. We do not publish it, quote it or show it to anyone outside the practice without asking you first.

What is ours

The name Coherence, this site, its texts, its images and the way it is put together belong to the practice. Read them, learn from them, link to them. To reuse them, ask us — we are easy to reach and usually say yes.

The gatherings

Dates, places and hosts can change, and sometimes a gathering does not happen. Places are kept on Luma, which has its own terms and its own account. What happens in a room is held by the people in it: come with care for the others there.

The site as it is

We offer this site as it is, without promising it is always available or free of mistakes. We are a small practice: we fix what we find, and we are not answerable for what you decide to do with what you read here.

Ending it

You can ask us to close your account whenever you want. We can close an account that is used to harm someone, and we say why.

The law

These terms are read under Mexican law, and anything that cannot be settled between us belongs to the courts of Monterrey, Nuevo León.
